This afternoon, when Grace and I got to the house, we gathered up Jake and headed to Ridgeland. Our first stop was Party City for a few things for Relay for Life. After that, we headed to Northpark for a little shopping and food court supper. Ah, being in a mall food court always reminds me of the 80's and the movie Mallrats. *sigh* On the way back home, Jake noticed the "Hot Doughnuts Now" signs were lit at Krispy Kreme. He made a quick turn in to the parking lot. We raced in to make sure Grace could see how doughnuts are made. She loved watching them move around in the proof boxes onto the conveyor to the fryer then the glazer. Jake bought a fresh dozen and we enjoyed a few right there in the store.
Grace and I were quite fashionable as we enjoyed our pastries:
