Easter

We were fortunate enough to have Jake home with this year for Easter so we decided to celebrate at home.  

Saturday, we boiled and dyed eggs. 

These were our favorite...the oranges & pinks didn't come out too well this year. 

I later turned most of those eggies into deviled eggs! That made for a beautiful carton fo shells:

Saturday evening we received a phone call from one Mr. Easter Bunny wondering if a certain little girl was in bed yet. She wasn't , but it didn't take 5 seconds for her get there! 

That little girl found something special for her the next morning.

We were indeed blessed with a beautiful day Sunday and the sun was shinning, so much so this is the best shot of Gracey in front of the flower cross at church. Sadly, we didn't a family picture of the three of us.

After church we headed back home and were joined by Uncle Johnny, Suzanne, James and Popadopalis. 

Jake fried up fish, home fries and hush puppies. We also has coleslaw, deviled eggs, pink lemonade, sun tea and an ice cream cake! 

After lunch, Uncle Johnny hid eggs for Gracey, James and Jake...it was quite a sight to watch!
